On Wednesday 8 March, ISS launched the ‘Well-being, Ecology, Gender and Community’ research project

The ‘Well-being, Ecology, Gender and Community’ project (WEGO) will enable 15 PhD students to conduct research in the framework of feminist political ecology.

It is the first European network of its kind, which funds the work of an international group of researchers and helps them to develop their skills and abilities through training sessions and guidance by 18 international institutes.

Professor Wendy Harcourt, Professor for Gender, Diversity and Sustainable Development, will coordinate the project with almost 4 million euros from the Horizon 2020 fund of European Union.
