On 2 December 2020, Farzana Misha successfully defended her PhD thesis on 'The Effect of Integrated Safety Net Programs in Bangladesh and Uganda'
Her thesis consisted of three essays in which she examined the effects of three integrated social-support programmes implemented by one of the largest international non-governmental organizations in the world, BRAC.
Two of the integrated programmes analysed are located in Bangladesh, one in Uganda.
