On 29 June - 2 July 2020, the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) will host the 16th General Conference of the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI).
The central theme of the conference is 'Solidarity, Peace and Social Justice' and will be combined with the Development Dialogue, the annual European conference of PhD candidates working in development studies, also held at ISS
The Conference is still in the planning stages but will include a variety of innovative conference formats to enable participants to exchange ideas and engage in active discussions. These include special panels between practitioners and academics as well as a high number of participants from the Global South.
By combining the conference with the PhD network of the Development Dialogue, the conference will also try to provide more space for early career scholars.
