On 16 November 2024, Dr Oane Visser gave a talk on Russia’s role in the shifting global world order.
In his talk, Visser dealt with the history of Russia’s relations with the West and the East, civil movements in the shrinking political space and the Russian responses to Western sanctions.
The talk was part of a public lecture series organized by the Protestant Church on the global powers. The series includes lectures on China, the US and Europe. The series explores what drives the current global powers and the outlook of their leaders and population.
