Reading without Borders collection at ISS Library

A collection of literary fiction and poetry from all over the world.

On 5 January the ‘Reading Without Borders’ collection was officially presented by one of the staff members of the Rotterdamsch Leeskabinet (RLK) in the presence of ISS students and staff.

Part of the ‘Reading Without Borders’ collection is now available in the lounge area of the ISS library (‘snake’). The collection will be refreshed at regular intervals. You can borrow these books by checking them out at the ISS Library services desk. Or you can request other books from the collection at Rotterdam to be sent to the ISS Library by placing a hold via the RLK online catalogue: www.eur.nl/rlk/

The â€˜Reading Without Borders’ comprises literature and poetry from all over the world in its English translation. With it, the Leeskabinet aims at curating a collection that is representative of the various countries of origin of our Erasmus and ISS students.

You are invited to participate by recommending literature, including fiction and poetry, from your respective home countries. If you find that one of your favorite novels or collection of poetry is missing, let us know! We are always looking for interesting suggestions.

Please use the form in the attachment below to make your suggestions for new titles.
