On 3 October 2019, Professor Inge Hutter, rector of ISS and Dr Liduine Bremer, dean of the Faculty of Public Management, Law and Safety at The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS), signed a partnership agreement.
The two institutions are already involved in a number of joint projects spanning several faculties at THUAS.
For example, cooperation began three years ago with a joint course taught by Georgina Gomez and Albert Kraaij.
Earlier, THUAS Lector Aminata Cairo shared her expertise on inclusive education at the opening of the ISS academic year and at the Jos Mooij teaching day last year. Cairo is now developing a joint minor on diversity with ISS Associate professor Rosalba Icaza.
ISS and THUAS are now looking at opportunities for ISS PhD researchers to gain teaching experience at THUAS and at THUAS becoming involved in the de-growth conference which ISS will host in 2021.
