New trial: Cabells' Predatory Reports gives insights in predatory journals

The University Library provides trial access to Cabells' Predatory Reports until 31 October 2023. Cabells' Predatory Reports is a searchable, curated database of over 16.000 possible predatory journals in all disciplines. Each journal is examined against over 60 behavioral indicators, from misleading metrics to irregular publication practices.

Cabells' Predatory Reports gives researchers the possibility to see why a journal is flagged as predatory, so you can make a clear and safe decision whether or not to publish in that journal. The reports go beyond a basic ‘predatory vs. not-predatory’ division and give clear insights into what a journal does wrong and right.

Please inform us if you think the University Library should provide access to Cabells' Predatory Reports beyond October 2023.
