"I would like to believe that my orientation is not purely academic, and that it has a strong activist element to it. My work, besides academia, is mostly concerned with the tribal rights movement in the central and eastern part of India. I also partly entertain myself with the International Relations literature, specifically on the Sino-Indian front. I have a terrible taste in music and dance, and when it comes to food, I enjoy eating anything and everything. Not a sportsperson, but I do like to play badminton at times. That would be all about myself. "
