After a successful trial the University Library has purchased the database Africa-Wide Information. Africa-Wide Information is a unique, multidisciplinary index to research and publications from Africa and about Africa, helping you discover new perspectives.
Africa-Wide Information combines dozens of databases sourced from Africa, Europe and North America. Its contents cover all African countries, in subject areas such as agriculture, culture, development, economics, health, history, industry, law, literature, politics, and more. In this database you will find research from and about Africa that cannot be found in other academic databases, in a variety of languages. Africa-Wide Information features high-quality research published in academic journals and books. However, the database also contains popular magazines, newspapers, government publications, grey literature, dissertations, and even music recordings, and radio and television broadcasts.
