Sociologist Ruut Veenhoven, also known as the happiness professor, has been researching happiness for years.
He set up the World Database of Happiness: an online database full of studies on happiness.
In recent months we have been working on securing Veenhoven's scientific work together with the Erasmus Trust Fund. Last week we celebrated the agreement between him and the University Library of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
The EUR Library will safeguard, preserve and distribute the database. This way, other scientists can continue to build on the knowledge that already exists about the ingredients of a happy life. That means more happiness and more wisdom!
