Dr. Holly Ritchie was one of 9 international judges, speakers and mentors that supported the Indonesia Sociopreneur Challenge (ISoC) a 10 day international competition and bootcamp in Jakarta.
ISS PhD graduate and researcher, Holly Ritchie was involved in facilitating thematic workshops (social inclusion and gender in enterprise and value chain development), participating in the regional Economic Leadership conference as a speaker, and assessing the various competition entries.
About ISoC
Initiated by the Technopreneurship Department at Surya University, Jakarta, with the local government of South Tangerang, ISoC is an annual competition and bootcamp that focuses on solving specific social issues in Indonesia through entrepreneurial innovation with commercial potential.
The first competition was held in 2015 and aimed at Indonesians only. Due to its success, ISoC 2016 was re-launched as an international competition, attracting over 40 nationalities on the topic of waste management.
Sponsors included government agencies, CNN Indonesia and local media.
