The International Institute of Social Studies recently became a formal member institution of CLACSO, the Latin America Council of Social Sciences.
This affiliation will enable the Institute and individual researchers to participate in the many academic activities and working groups of this large Latin American research network.
Being part of this Council will offer an excellent opportunity to showcase ISS and ISS researchers across the Spanish speaking world and the French and Portuguese speaking countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
What is CLASCO?
The Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO) is a non-governmental international organization with UNESCO associate status, established in 1967. It currently brings together 718 research centres and graduate schools in the field of the social sciences and humanities in 52 Latin American countries and other continents.
