We are sad to share the news that ISS alumnus Gebru Mersha from Ethiopia passed away recently.
Gebru Mersha was a very special alumnus of ISS, having received all the degrees of the institution, starting with a Diploma course, followed by a Masters and finally a PhD in 1995. His PhD supervisors were Ashwani Saith and Ken Post
He was highly respected by his peers and students as a Professor of Political Science at Addis Abeba University, and a caring person.
