We are extremely proud to share that an alumna from the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), Dr Isatou Touray has been appointed as Vice President of The Gambia on 15 March 2019.
In a major Cabinet reshuffle, Dr Isatou Touray was appointed as Vice President. She previously served as the Minister for Trade and the Minister for Health.
Dr Isatou Touray is a Gambian politician, activist, and social reformer. She was at ISS in 1992/1993 in the MA programme Women & Development.
