During the month April EUR/ISS students and staff have free online access to The New York Times.
The New York Times is one of the most renowned newspapers of the world and you will find a variety of topics covered through breaking news articles, blogs, videos and interactive features. Readers can discover and share content on social networks, save articles, subscribe to email newsletters of areas of interest and receive news alerts.
Access
During this 30-day trial there is no user registration or log in needed and you have web access to NYTimes.com or nytimes.com/mobile on any online device as long as you are on campus (including Woudestein as well as the ISS and EUC locations).
This trial also gives access to The New York Times inEDUCATION, which provides resources designed specifically for educators. Here you will find synopses that connect the news to specific areas of study, such as International Relations, Macroeconomics, Sociology and NYT-content aggregated by keyword.
You will have access to Times articles from 1851 to the present, with the exception of articles within the date range 1923-1980. For NYT-articles from that specific time frame you can search the Proquest historical newspapers-database which can be found in our A-Z database list.
