The International Institute of Social Studies has been an part of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) since 2009. During EUR's 105th anniversary celebrations in 2019, ISS highlight will it's relationship with the University as Erasmus by the Sea.
Throughout the year, ISS will hold several events during which we will celebrate the importance of ISS for EUR and The Hague.
On 12 November, ISS, EUR and The Hague Municipality unveiled flags over the Hofvijver to launch this celebratory year. The flags show the EUR lustrum logo and the Erasmus by the Sea logo adopted by ISS.

ISS has been located in The Hague for over 65 years. During that period it has worked with Knowledge institutes, with organizations in The Hague and with The Hague Municipality. Recently, other faculties of the EUR have followed in its footsteps and are expanding their work to The Hague. Thus, Erasmus inspires The Hague.
