Trauma is thought of in terms of confronting direct, physical acts and their consequences. And language like economic hardship, economic turmoil, or economic crises is often used, but seldom if at all do we talk about Economic Trauma.
Emotional and mental trauma are recognised as being damaging to a person’s psyche. However, bubbling away in Zimbabwe for some time is something Susan Wyatt recently experienced a first-hand assault in – Economic Trauma.
