In this lecture given at the International Institute of Social Studies on 26 February 2020, Bob Brown traces the history of the Black Panther Party, the historical figures it spawned and the social justice programmes and campaigns it launched.

Bob Brown is the co-founder and ex-member of the Chicago Chapter of the Black Panther Party (March 1968 to March 1969) and author of several books, including his most recent publications on Malcolm X and Kwame Ture (Stokely Carmichael). He is currently a member of the All African People's Revolutionary Party (GC).
