On 19 October, the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS), in collaboration with the Amsterdam Collective for Democracy in Brazil is organizing 'Screening Brazil' with a representative selection in solidarity with the Free Lula campaign and with the intention of bringing awareness and debate about the political crisis in the middle of the presidential elections.
In conjunction with the collective, ISS will present the award-winning short films Boca de Fogo/Fire Mouth (Luciano Perez Fernandez 2017) and Sadder than Playtime on Rainy Day (Lobo Mauro 2018).
The films will be introduced by Marisa Aragão.
Round table discussion
The films will be followed by a round table discussion about the films and the current political situation in Brazil.
