Nicaraguan Freedom Dreams

On 16 April, the International Institute of Social Studies will host Nicaraguan Freedom Dreams, an exhibition born from a two-month collaborative process with Nicaraguan activist-refugees involved in the April protest movement.

During the event, three activist-refugees will speak about their resistance against authoritarianism, building the archive and their ongoing fight for freedom in exile.

The event will start at 13:00 and be repeated at 16:00.

13:10 and 16:10 Screening of two mini-documentaries about the April protests
13:30 and 16:30 Talk with three Nicaraguan refugee-activists, co-creators of the archive

Organization

The formation process is an initiative of activist group SOSNicaragua-Holanda, realized with the support of the Centre for Latin American Research and Documentation and ISS.
