About the Film

Home Game

Filmmaker Lidija Zelovic has been documenting her family’s life in the Netherlands since they fled war-torn Sarajevo in 1993. With a unique blend of self-deprecating humor and raw honesty, Home Game explores the complex emotions that come with being uprooted. What happens when ‘home’ is no longer a place but a state of mind?

Don’t miss this chance to engage with the filmmaker and experts in a discussion that goes beyond the screen. Join us for an evening of cinema, conversation, and critical reflection!

Join us for a special screening of Home Game, followed by an engaging panel discussion featuring filmmaker Lidija Zelovic and academic experts.

With two screenings and two unique panel discussions, this is an opportunity to reflect on migration, identity, and belonging through the lens of a deeply personal yet universally relevant film.

After the screening, stay for a thought-provoking panel discussion with experts in migration, identity, and displacement.
