During the Migration Seminar, she will discuss her finding which reveal that most returnees depend on social welfare support, while the most vulnerable rely on economic reintegration assistance provided by NGOs funded by international organizations such as UNDP, IOM, and GIZ.

Her data shows that although these aid programmes often aim to empower returnees economically by providing them with training to become entrepreneurs and establish small businesses, many participants withdraw at the critical stage of business registration.
