Step 1 - Register and create your profile via Studielink (the Dutch national registration system)
Start your application request in Studielink. The first time click <Create Studielink account without DigiD> (See image). You will have to provide personal data and some basic information about your academic background.
Step 2 - Insert your details
When filling in the Studielink form, please note:
- You are asked to give a first name. If you don’t have a first name enter the data as shown on your proof of identity. If, for example, you have more than one name and these are not seen as official first name and surname, then you enter these names as your surname. Enter a full stop (dot) (.) for your official first name.
- Under Given Name fill in the name you are generally addressed by.
- If you have to change or correct your name or contact details please do so in Studielink
Step 3 - Insert your address
Fill-in your address accordingly
Step 4 - Insert email address and contact details
Fill-in your email address and create a password.
Please remember your password and username as you will need your Studielink login name/password to extend your enrollment in the Development Studies Programme after the first year of education at ISS. More information will be provided during your study at ISS.
Step - 5 Confirmation
Check all the information in this page is correct. It is highly important for you to remember your password and username. After going through the summary of your profile, please check the two boxes highlighted below and click 'create'.
After you click 'create', you will receive an 'Account Activation' information via the email address that you have used earlier. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes before this email go through your inbox. Please also check your Spam box should you not receive any information after 15 minutes.
Once you have receive this email, please activate your account and follow the 'Studielink - after profile creation' step-by-step guide.
If you facing issues with Studielink account or if you did not receive your login details even after checking your Spam folder, please contact the Erasmus Student Service Center (ESSC). Once you reach the ESSC page, under 'Contact', you will see 'Email your questions'. Click on that link you will be prompt to send them an email with your queries.
