Shyamika Jayasundara-Smits joins European Foundation for South Asian Studies

Her main responsibilities will be to collaborate on research initiatives focusing on South Asia on the themes of armed violence, violence extremism, peace, and regional dynamics of China's belt and road initiative.

Working with other EFSAS Research Fellows, she will promote South Asian Studies, organize joint events addressing current developments related to violent conflict and peace in the South Asian region, and periodically contribute with short write-ups on these themes.
