Until 30 October the Library offers trial access to South Asia Archive: A digital archive encompassing millions of pages of valuable research and teaching materials, ranging from the mid-18th to the mid-20th Century.
The South Asia Archive provides access to culturally and historically significant literary material produced from within - and about - the Indian subcontinent. The documents in the archive range from rare books and reports to important journals, and are truly interdisciplinary. Its fields include:
- culture & society;
- industry & economy;
- science, technology & medicine;
- urban planning & administration;
- politics & law.
In addition to its value in individual research, the archive offers instructors an outstanding opportunity to include a range of primary archival materials in their syllabi.
