The International Institute of Social Studies is excited to be hosting the 13th annual Linking Research, Policy and Practice conference on 7 November 2024.
The conference will bring together young researchers with policymakers, practitioners and researchers working on sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in international development.
The research presented during the conference will not only to help disseminate knowledge but also create a space to open dialogue, to identify further gaps in research, policy and practice and to harness networking opportunities.
Conference sessions
The conference will include and panel discussion on policy shifts and dealing with opposition and themetic sessions on:
- SPHR on the move: The navigation of gender and health by migrating bodies
- Choices and constraints: Studying realities of medical care and reproductive justice
- Power (im)balance of rights: Exploring the dynamics of population well-being
- Barriers to access: Evaluating healthcare services for vulnerable communities
