Breaking chains: Examining barriers to women's education in Afghanistan

On 8 February 2024, current and former students at the International Institute of Social Studies will be hosting this event examining the challenges experienced by women and young girls in accessing education opportunities in Afghanistan.

'Breaking chains: Examining barriers to women's education in Afghanistan' will involve a panel of thought leaders, members of the Afghanistan diaspora and ISS alumni to talk about the challenges experienced by women and young girls in accessing education opportunities in Afghanistan. 

The speakers will also explore how institutions such as ISS might be able to play a role.
